Daddy
I enjoyed reading this poem a little bit more. it is about a young girl being brought up around WWII. I think its about how her father died when she was young so he couldnt help her through the holocaust and she hates her father for abandoning her at her time of need and thats why she doesnt like her husband either because she doesnt want to get close enough to him and then him leave her.
Leda and the Swan
This poem is really interesting to me but i really dont know what its underling message is supposed to be. all i really took from the poem is that Leda was being forced to have sex with the swan. when i googled this poem so i could read i noticed that this poem is a representation of Greek mythology where Zeus takes form as a swan and rapes the girl name Leda.

The Chimney Sweeper And London
The Chimney Sweeper:
The boys mother died
his father sends him to work
he wasn't allowed to complain about it
his job is to sweep chimneys
Tom is crying
his was curly but now he is bald
tells the Tom not to worry about his hair being gone
without hair the soot wont get in it
He was quiet about his hair and then that night
While he was sleeping he had a weird dream
He sees thousands of chimney sweepers and some he knows
They all were dead
An Angel came to help set them free
he unlocked all the coffins to release them
In a field they laugh an run around
they play in the river and relaxed in the sun
the were naked with no belongings
they go above the clouds and play in the wind
The Angle talks to Tom and tells him if he is good,
The angle would have God talk to his dad so he would never want joy
Tom woke up in the middle of the night
got all his cleaning supplies and went to work
Morning was chilly but he was still in a good mood
so if everyone does there job they dont need to fear anything
London:
I walked though each street
near by where the river flows
in every face i meet
every one is weak and sad
In all the men who cry
they babies cry in fear
Every one was cursed
He hears everyone's mind trapped
The chimney sweeper are unhappy
the churches are up set
soilders dont want to go to war
the palace is responsible for the blood
so he hears the most at night on the streets
the young whores curse
cause the babies to cry
people are dying because of a disease
The boys mother died
his father sends him to work
he wasn't allowed to complain about it
his job is to sweep chimneys
